Last updated:
Your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Anacan app.
1. Information We Collect
When you use the Anacan app, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, and usage data.
2. How We Use Information
Your information is used to provide, improve, and personalize our services, as well as to communicate with you.
3. Data Security
We implement strict security measures to protect your information. Your data is encrypted and stored on secure servers.
4. Third-Party Services
We do not sell your information. We may use trusted third-party services that meet strict privacy standards.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, modify, or delete your personal information at any time through your account settings.
Advertising, AdMob, and Device Identifiers
We may use Google AdMob to display ads in the Anacan app. AdMob and its third-party advertising partners may collect, use, and share device identifiers and related technical information to display and tailor ads, limit the number of times you see the same ad, measure ad performance, ensure security, and prevent fraud.
Information that may be collected
- Android Advertising ID, iOS Advertising Identifier (IDFA — only when required permission is granted), and similar identifiers;
- IP address, device model, language, time zone, mobile operator, operating system, and app version;
- app usage, ad views, clicks, ad interactions, and diagnostic information;
- approximate location derivable from the IP address. Precise location for advertising may only be used with separate permission and if such a function exists in the app.
Ad Personalization and Legal Basis
With your consent and where permitted by the laws of your country of residence, this information may be used for personalized ads tailored to your interests. If you do not consent or withdraw your consent, non-personalized or restricted ads may be shown. Such ads may still use limited information such as device data, app content, approximate location, and ad interaction. Data processing may be based on consent, service provision, or legitimate interests, in accordance with applicable legislation.
Your Choices on iOS Devices
In accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) guidelines, your permission may be requested before accessing IDFA for tracking across apps and websites. Not granting permission does not prevent you from using the app's core functions. You can change your choice at any time in iPhone or iPad Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Your Choices on Android Devices
Depending on your Android device version, you can manage ad personalization options, reset or delete your advertising identifier in Settings → Privacy → Ads. You can also manage your Google account ad preferences via My Ad Center. Menu names may vary depending on the device manufacturer and Android version.
Third Parties, Storage, and Transfer
Google and its advertising partners process data in accordance with their privacy policies, and data may be transferred to servers located outside your country of residence. The retention period depends on the type of data, advertising purpose, legal requirements, and the policies of the respective party. Anacan does not control the independent data processing of third parties. For users considered children by law, personalized ads are restricted, and applicable age-appropriate advertising guidelines are taken into account.
